Residents have been urged to exercise extreme caution following reports of a leopard on the loose between Glen Agricultural College and the N1/R30 interchange near Bloemfontein.
Communities in Glen and surrounding areas have been advised to remain vigilant, keep a safe distance, and immediately report any sightings of the wild animal to authorities.
The Free State Department of Environment Affairs and Tourism has confirmed that wildlife experts are actively searching for the leopard and are working to safely capture it and return it to its natural habitat.
