Job Purpose
The IT Graduate will provide technical support under the guidance of IT Administrators and the AMEP Project Manager. The role supports the organisation’s digital tools, MIS, data integrity, and technology infrastructure, while developing hands-on experience across IT support, systems management, cybersecurity practices, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide support on hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Set up and configure laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Systems Administration
- Assist with user account creation, access control, and permissions
- Support routine maintenance (updates, backups, patching)
- Monitor basic system performance and flag potential issues
- Maintain shared drives, collaboration tools, and internal platforms
Data & Reporting Support
- Assist with data extraction, cleaning, and basic analysis
- Troubleshoot issues on internal systems or dashboards
- Conduct routine data quality checks and highlight inconsistencies
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Apply basic cybersecurity practices and device security standards
- Support IT audits and compliance checks (passwords, backups, access)
- Educate staff on safe technology use and data protection policies
Project & Administration Support
- Contribute to IT projects (system rollouts, software upgrades)
- Assist with training materials, user guides, and documentation

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
