Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the 2026 Electrical Apprenticeship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be unemployed and not enrolled in education or training
- Have Grade 12 with Mathematics (Physical Science is an added advantage)
- Have no age restrictions
- Be from Gauteng or the Northern Cape
- Be willing to relocate to Gauteng for classroom training (if based in the Northern Cape)

- Updated CV
- Certified copy of ID
- Grade 12 school results
- Proof of residence
Stipend and Support
Successful learners will receive a monthly stipend of R3,000, helping to support basic needs during the training period.
