Lusanda Beja is officially off the market

The singer recently revealed that he asked his uncles to approach his fiancée’s family to request her hand in marriage.
In a video shared online, Beja’s representatives are seen making their way to his wife, Zimkhita, to begin the traditional process. He also shared photographs of the two of them, captioning the post, “I have found the one whom my soul loves,” quoting Song of Solomon 3:4.
In another post, he reflected on the journey that led him to this moment, writing, “I am profoundly learning that some blessings are from the prayers strangers made for me.”
Skeem Saam actress Innocent Sadiki congratulated the couple, commenting, “Not me screaming. Oh wow, congratulations, brother. Oh this is beautiful. See what the Lord has done.”
Lusanda Beja is a prominent South African gospel singer, songwriter and performer born in Gugulethu, Cape Town. He first rose to fame as a teenager when he finished in the top 10 of the inaugural I Want to Sing Gospel TV competition in 2008.
His breakthrough album Jesu ‘Lidwala (2018) cemented his dynamic and joyous presence in contemporary Mzansi gospel, followed by popular releases such as Udumo (2022) and Saphumela (2024).
