Mzansi Wethu is introducing two new reality shows: The Real City Makoti and Spinza Aside.
The Real City Makoti follows four married women who live vibrant, modern lives in the city while staying deeply connected to their rural and traditional roots.
Viewers can expect cultural clashes, family expectations and the push-and-pull of modern makotis trying to rewrite the rules as they balance city life with rural values.
Meet the Makotis:
• Linda Mbunyuza -A traditionalist with a taste for luxury.
• Anika Dambuza – Bridging Xhosa and Afrikaans cultures.
• Sessy Mofokeng – A polyamorous mum searching for her forever after.
• Keneilwe Mpolokeng Mbobosi – A sangoma and first wife on a journey towards motherhood.

In Spinza Aside, four couples battling alcohol abuse take on a life-changing journey to heal their love and break free from addiction.
With expert guidance, the couples confront their past, redefine their future and face the real question: can their relationships survive life’s pressures when lived sober?
They will undergo intensive therapy and take part in bold relationship challenges designed to stretch trust, loyalty and vulnerability to the limit.
