The City of Tshwane has taken decisive action against the Chinese-owned Pavilion Hotel, immediately shutting down the establishment following a shock inspection that uncovered massive illegal operations.

City enforcement officers conducted a raid, discovering a staggering 85 rooms that had been illegally constructed within the premises.

These units were reportedly operating as a clandestine brothel, entirely without the requisite building plans or safety approvals from the municipality.

The scale of the illicit enterprise was revealed through the financial data. Authorities estimated the illegal operation was generating a substantial income of approximately R340,000 per month.

Further compounding the exploitation, the young women utilising the rooms were allegedly being charged R1,000 weekly for their use.
