Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus has invited the public to join him on a special Christmas morning walk along the Blouberg Strand promenade.
This follows the success of his first fan meet and greet last Christmas.
The 53-year-old is widely praised for his contribution to building national unity through sport.
RASSIE INVITES PUBLIC TO CHRISTMAS WALK
On his X account, Rassie Erasmus shared an open invitation to the public to join him on his annual Christmas morning walk.
The casual community event – a 6km walk along the Blouberg promenade in Cape Town – will take place on 25 December at 06:00.
He posted: “This is to thank you for your passionate support and the way you carry us. Julle weet nie wat ons weet nie [They don’t know wat we know].”

Months before the 2019 Rugby World Cup, the retired player was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called microscopic polyangiitis with granulomatosis, previously known as Wegener’s disorder.
Deciding to keep his health woes private, Rassie later revealed that he was treated with chemotherapy.
Fast forward to 2024, the Springboks coach revealed he had undergone a painful shoulder operation to correct an old injury.
