Fresh off the success of Finally Famous Too, Dlala Thukzin unveils a futuristic Afro-Tech direction with his new album Mayvis.

South African multi-award-winning producer and DJ, Dlala Thukzin, has released his highly anticipated 8th studio album titled Mayvis.
This follows the success of his previous album Finally Famous Too.
According to Virgin Music Group SA, Thukzin is back with a sharper, bolder and more refined sound.
“With Mayvis, Dlala Thukzin leans deeper into the textures, pulses, and rhythmic DNA that have defined his musical identity. Layered with futuristic Afro-Tech elements, hypnotic grooves, and the unmistakable Dlala Thukzin bounce, the album captures the evolution of a producer operating at the height of his creative powers,” the music label said in a statement.
In a touching post shared on social media, Thukzin revealed that he named the album after the woman who believed in him before he had anything to show.

AFTER THE WOMAN WHO SHAPED MY WORLD LONG BEFORE I KNEW HOW TO DESCRIBE IT.“AS I GREW, SHE BECAME THE PERSON WHO LISTENED WITHOUT INTERRUPTING, WHO BELIEVED IN ME BEFORE I HAD ANYTHING TO SHOW, WHO TOLD ME STORIES OF HER OWN YOUTH STORIES FILLED WITH RESILIENCE AND SOFTNESS.
” SHE TAUGHT ME THAT STRENGTH AND GENTLENESS AREN’T OPPOSITES, THEY CAN LIVE UNDER THE SAME NAME.”
Born in Durban, Dlala Thukzin, real name Thuthuka Wandile Zindlovu, is a groundbreaking DJ and producer whose fusion of Afro-Tech, Gqom, 3-Step, and Amapiano has made him one of South Africa’s most influential electronic artists.
His signature sound has earned him viral hits, with chart-topping albums like Finally Famous and Finally Famous Too.
Thukzin continues to elevate South African music worldwide with global tours, electrifying live shows, and millions of streams.
