AgriSETA Skills Planning & Research Internships 2026
AgriSETA is offering five (5) internship opportunities for qualified youth within its Skills Planning & Research Division. These internships aim to equip graduates with practical workplace experience in data capturing, reporting, administrative support, and research-related functions within the agricultural sector.
This 24-month programme is ideal for individuals with strong administrative, analytical, and data-handling abilities who want to grow in a SETA environment while contributing to national skills development.
Internship Purpose
The Skills Planning & Research Interns will support the division through accurate data capturing, data management, reporting, and administrative functions. Interns will work closely with the Assistant Manager: Skills Planning & Research and gain exposure across multiple internal divisions.
Key Performance Areas
1. Data Capturing
- Maintain and update AgriSETA databases
- Implement quality control checks
- Provide weekly data reports
- Retrieve stakeholder payment reports from Indicium
- Prepare quarterly SETMIS reports
- Compile DHET and management reports
- Analyse data trends
- Verify, enrol, and authorise learner information
- Maintain documented evidence of all captured data
2. Data Management
- Compile datasets as requested
- Maintain multiple data sets for organisational reporting
3. Administration
- Support administrative processes within the division
- Assist with basic office administration
4. Ad Hoc Duties
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the Assistant Manager
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must hold:
- N6, National Diploma, or Equivalent Qualification in:
- Office Administration
- Office Management
- Related fields
Required Competencies
- Advanced MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook skills
- Strong administrative ability
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork capability
