Minimum Entry Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet one of the following:
Option 1: Matric / Grade 12
- Mathematics (NOT Maths Literacy) – minimum 40%
- Physical Science – minimum 40%
- English – minimum 40%
Option 2: N3 or Higher
Subject requirements depend on the trade, for example:
- Boilermaker/Plater:
- Plating & Structural Steelwork
- Welders Theory
- Structural & Steelwork Drawings
- Electrical:
- Electrical Trade Theory / Electrotechnology / Electrotechnics
- Industrial Electronics or Engineering Drawings
Option 3: NCV Level 4
- In an appropriate trade field with all subjects passed at a minimum of 40%

- Certified copy of ID
- Proof of residence (host community applicants only – stamped by tribal office or municipality)
