About the DPME Internship Programme
The Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation is offering 24-month internships for graduates and in-service training opportunities for TVET and University of Technology students who require workplace exposure to complete their qualifications.
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Be unemployed
- Have never participated in any public sector internship, learnership, or in-service training before
- Meet the qualification requirements for the specific post

Important Application Requirements
- Submit a signed Z83 form + comprehensive CV only
- Include three contactable references with names, numbers, and capacity
- Certified copies of qualifications will be requested only from shortlisted candidates
- Applications must quote the correct reference number
- Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA
- Applicants must be available for interviews and assessments
- Pre-employment checks include security vetting, qualification verification, and criminal record checks
