Oh no! Another MAFS couple got matching tattoos on the show and have awkwardly since split

It turns out it wasn’t just Julia-Ruth and Joe who got matching tattoos during MAFS UK 2025. Another couple did too, and they’ve now awkwardly broken up, with nothing but their permanent ink to remember things by.

The cast came together for some drinks and it was shockingly revealed that just 48-hours after he left the show and Maeve behind, Joe went to Lanzarote with Julia-Ruth. They slept together and got matching “why not” tattoos, in a huge dig to their fellow brides and grooms.

However, they weren’t the only ones. Davide has now revealed that he and Keye got matching tattoos during the experiment, but this wasn’t shown in the episodes. After the reunion aired it was revealed the couple have since broken up.

“I even have a little otter tattoo, both me and Keye had one. They didn’t air it though,” Davide told The Mirror. The otter was significant for the couple, as they previously had a date at the zoo. Keye knew otters were Davide’s favourite animal, so surprised him with a session feeing them. Now, they both have the ink as a reminder of their relationship that has really turned sour.

After the show it was confirmed Davide and Keye had broken up, after Davide discovered Keye had been on dating app Grindr. Keye said in an Instagram post: “In the early hours of a Sunday morning, while Davide was on a flight, I downloaded Grindr. I want to be clear that I was not looking to cheat, hook up, or find someone else. I was in a dark and fragile place and reached for something unhealthy because I did not know how else to cope.”

Davide then replied in a further post when he was asked how he found the profile, and said the discovery was something he couldn’t come back from.

He said: “I had a gut feeling something wasn’t right. Out of my own insecurity I created a profile on Grindr to check whether Keye was on the app only to find that my gut feeling was correct. That moment was painful and it made the trust between us break in a way I couldn’t move past. That’s why when it was broken, it was something I simply could not overcome. I won’t lie I was deeply hurt and shocked but with time, I’ve healed and found peace.”
