SABC 2 has unveiled its brand new telenovela, Pimville, which starts on Friday, 9 February 2026.

Produced by former Scandal! actor Kagiso Modupe’s Bakwena Productions, the drama is set to air Mondays to Fridays at 9PM.

According to SABC 2, Pimville promises to captivate the nation and redefine the standard of local storytelling.

“More than just a story of love, ambition, and betrayal, Pimville is a celebration of resilience, heritage, and the unbreakable spirit of a community,” the statement reads.

The telenovela also boasts a stellar cast, with many celebrated South African actors.
