Franco Mostert’s wife, Juan-Ri Mostert, has spoken out after he was given a red card during the Springboks game against Italy over the weekend.
The lock was sent off in the 11th minute after a dangerous tackle with Azzurri flyhalf Paolo Garbisi.
The Boks beat their rivals 32-14 with 14 men.

In an Instagram post, Juan-Ri sang the praises of her husband, Franco Mostert.
She captioned a collage of the Springbok lock: “We are so proud of you. Thank you for being such a beautiful example for me and our children. I honor you. We LOVE YOU!”
The heartfelt message was liked by fellow Springbok WAGS, Verna Libbok and Anlia Etzebeth, the wives of Manie Libbok and Eben Etzebeth, respectively.
Fellow Boks Cheslin Kolbe and Andre Esterhuizen also liked the post.

Franco Mostert’s red card comes a week after fellow lock Lood de Jager was also given the same penalty over a tackle with France.
HOW MANY GAMES WILL HE MISS?
Franco Mostert will be penalised by missing the Boks’ next game, but the final number of matches will be determined after his independent disciplinary hearing.
Franco will forgo the Boks match against Ireland next week at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
It’s unclear if he will be back on to play against Wales at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff later this month.
