About the Heineken Beverages Apprentice Programme 2025
Heineken Beverages is offering an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about engineering and technical trades to join its Apprenticeship Programme 2025 within the Supply Chain division. The successful candidate will undergo structured training at the Centre of Excellence Workshop and report directly to the Workshop Manager.
This programme is designed for ambitious, disciplined, and reliable individuals who are ready to develop their technical skills and qualify as a Fitter & Turner (Millwright) through hands-on experience and formal training.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the apprenticeship, successful applicants will:
- Undergo training in the Millwright apprenticeship programme to qualify as a Fitter & Turner.
- Participate actively in all apprenticeship-related learning and development activities.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship in all assigned tasks.
- Perform allocated duties within the workshop under supervision.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Educational Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science.
- N2 Certificate in Engineering Studies with relevant Mechanical Trade Theory (attach certified copy).
Preferred Skills and Attributes
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Additional Requirements
- Must have own reliable transport.
- Willing to work overtime when required.
- Flexibility to be deployed at different Heineken Beverages plants or facilities.
