The Motheo Academy is proud to offer Bricklaying Apprenticeship (Red Seal) Training Opportunities — a full-time, three-year Occupational Certificate qualification in Bricklaying.
This programme provides aspiring artisans with the chance to gain industry-recognised skills, practical hands-on experience, and a monthly stipend while training to become qualified bricklayers. It serves as a valuable pathway for those looking to build sustainable careers in the construction and built environment sector.
About the Apprenticeship
The Bricklaying Apprenticeship Programme combines theoretical classroom learning with practical on-site training, ensuring learners are well-equipped to meet the standards of the construction industry. Upon completion, successful candidates will receive a Red Seal qualification, recognised across South Africa.
Programme Duration: 3 Years (Full-Time)
Qualification: Occupational Certificate in Bricklaying (Red Seal)
Location: Gauteng Province
Stipend: Monthly allowance provided
Requirements to Qualify
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Hold a Certified Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics and English (certified within the last 3 months)
- Possess a Certified N2 Qualification in Bricklaying (certified within the last 3 months)
- Submit a Certified Copy of ID (certified within the last 3 months)
- Include a detailed CV outlining personal, educational, and contact details
- Be 35 years old or younger
- Be willing to travel within the Gauteng region when required
- Be a South African citizen
- Reside in the Gauteng region
- Be willing to work in the construction or built environment industries for the duration of the apprenticeship
