In the latest season of Selling Sunset, Emma Hernan introduced us all to her new boyfriend. But who even is he? How is he so unbelievably rich? We have answers.
Er, who even is Emma’s new boyfriend on Selling Sunset?
Emma Hernan‘s vegetable-hating boyfriend is Blake Davis, who is now 28 (but was 27 when Selling Sunset was filmed). He grew up in Georgia, but now lives in south Florida. This explains the accent. Blake and Emma’s on-and-off relationship seems to have started in 2024. They seem to still be together now.

How rich even is Emma’s boyfriend?
The Selling Sunset cast allude to him being filthy rich. Blake’s family have been involved in real estate for generations. Blake Davis does some work for Davis Development. The website describes the business as “a multi-family housing developer and management company based in Atlanta, Georgia who develops and manages luxury apartment communities throughout the Southeast, Midwest and Southwest regions of the United States.” This company has been building properties for more than 20 years.
Blake also dabbles in venture capital and investments. Forbes referred to Blake as a billionaire about four years ago.

Apparently, his father used to be a builder and his mother used to be a designer. We know Blake’s father used to run this company. But beyond Blake popping up on Selling Sunset, his family seem to be fairly private. We don’t know precisely how much money Blake has sitting in his bank account. Sorry.
Blake’s own website says his goal is to “build generational wealth for his future family”. Erm, okay. His hobbies apparently include buying art, expanding his collection of 1,000+ watches, and chilaxing on his 130-foot yacht, called Trust Fun. Honestly, you couldn’t make that up. He frequently travels by private jet (or posts about it on Instagram, anyway). I’m guessing he’s not exactly skint x

What does any of this have to do with microwaving popcorn?
Emma does vaguely explain on the show: “He is…a real estate heir, you could say. His dad also was part of inventing microwave popcorn, but his real estate is what made the real money.”
Now, I have scoured the internet for details on this microwave popcorn, and found no further details. Sozzles. Perhaps somebody in Blake’s family was an early investor in a microwave popcorn company?
