Bakwena Platinum Corridor Concessionaire (Pty) Ltd invites South African university students to apply for the Bakwena Bursary Programme 2026.

About the Bakwena Bursary

Bakwena Platinum Corridor Concessionaire (Pty) Ltd (Bakwena) is responsible for constructing, managing, upgrading and maintaining safe, reliable road infrastructure along the N1 and N4 corridor.

As part of its commitment to community development and youth empowerment, Bakwena is offering a limited number of bursaries for the 2026 academic year. These bursaries are aimed specifically at students who are already in 2nd year or higher at university.

The bursary provides financial support to help deserving students continue and complete their studies at South African universities.

Why This Matters

University costs are high — and many strong students drop out in 2nd or 3rd year because funding dries up. The Bakwena Bursary Programme is designed to support students who have already proven their commitment by passing first year, and who are working towards professional careers that can strengthen local communities along the N1 and N4 corridor.

If you live near the Bakwena route and you’re serious about your studies, this is for you.
