This programme is designed for individuals passionate about healthcare and dedicated to serving their communities through professional nursing practice. Successful candidates will gain the necessary theoretical and practical training to qualify as registered nurses under the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
Compulsory Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Matric/National Senior Certificate endorsed by Umalusi for diploma or bachelor’s admission.
- Life Sciences level 4 / Biology HG – D / SG – C.
- English level 4 / HG – D / SG – C.
- Mathematics / Maths Literacy and Physical Science level 3 and above (added advantage).
- APS/Matriculation score of 24 and above for the six highest subjects (excluding Life Orientation).
- Only Northern Cape applicants will be considered.
- Applicants currently registered elsewhere will not be accepted.
- Candidates who have applied for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) are encouraged to apply.

Successful applicants will qualify for a bursary from the Northern Cape Department of Health and must sign a contract or service period as determined by the Department.
