Kendall Jenner is getting a load of hate for opening the recent Moulin Rouge show, especially as she was given a timeless piece inspired by the original show in 2001. She done a slightly different catwalk than usual this time, and it’s caught everyone off-guard.
She wore a top hat and a glitzy silver sequin piece designed by Catherine Martin and Angus Strathie, but the reaction from the public wasn’t really what she’d have hoped for. And even two celebrities in attendance have apparently not been on board with her opening.
While one person harshly said, “Lack of charisma personified,” another picked up on a clear sign Kendall may have been feeling awkward. They said, “Lol they all have the emergency boob grab emote when they’re feeling awk,” referring to The Kardashians family.

Her bestie Hailey Bieber was there to support her, and even shared some supportive videos of Kendall. But one Reddit user claimed: “I had 3 friends (2 are celebs) in attendance and they all remarked they hated she opened the show.”
That same person added: “The best part is these people have each others number and kiki with each other in certain situations but something like this where she’s on their turf pretending to be one of them — that’s when the claws come out.”

“She no doubt was given the cold shoulder and it’s def why Hailey was there to be the one person she can have there cheering her on. They’re trying hard to infiltrate the core Hollywood space en masse and it’s ruffling feathers but also no one gives a f***,” they wrote.

A lot of people are comparing Kendall’s catwalk to Hunter Schafer doing the same walk at another point in the show, and to be honest, she is such a great actress that I could barely tell her apart from the original Tilda Swinton performance in Orlando in 1992.
