Former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Tebow is mourning the loss of her father.

Former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Tebow is mourning the loss of her father, who passed away last week following a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
The South African beauty queen and author shared the devastating news with a poignant tribute on social media, describing the grief as one of the most painful losses a person can experience.
The star, who won the Miss Universe title in 2017, announced that her “sweet dad went to be with Jesus last Thursday,” adding that her heart was heavy but also “deeply grateful.”
In a touching message written partly in Afrikaans, Tebow addressed her father directly, saying,
“Liewe Pappa, ‘n Dag waarna elke gelowige uitsien, beleef Pappa vandag — volmaak, aan die voete van Jesus.” This translates to, “Dear Daddy, a day every believer looks forward to, Daddy is experiencing today—perfect, at the feet of Jesus.”
Tebow revealed that her father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer two years ago.
The former Miss Universe also took time to express gratitude for the support the family received, thanking the medical personnel who offered kindness throughout the tough period.
She offered a heartfelt thank you to everyone who cared for her father, noting that many had become close friends.
