Scooter’s Pizza, once known as South Africa’s fastest-growing pizza chain with its audacious “39 minutes or it’s free” delivery promise, is making a highly anticipated return after almost a decade off the menu.
The brand disappeared when former owner Taste Holdings shifted focus to Domino’s Pizza.
Now, the franchise is being revived under the leadership of veteran entrepreneur and business acquisition specialist, Juan Engelbrecht.
Engelbrecht, who boasts over 40 years of corporate and business experience and was instrumental in the brand’s early expansion, is driving the relaunch. He is bringing the iconic pizza franchise back to the market through 1st Choice Business Brokers & Franchising.
The first new store is set to open its doors in Melville, Johannesburg, marking the start of a fresh chapter for the once-dominant brand.
