The Class of 2025 is gearing up for the start of the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations, which will officially begin on Tuesday, 21 October 2025, and run until 27 November 2025.
The first paper to be written will be Computer Applications Technology (CAT) Paper 1 (practical), marking the beginning of a crucial examination period for South Africa’s Grade 12 learners.
More than one million candidates across the country have registered to sit for this year’s final exams. In Gauteng alone, approximately 192,000 pupils will participate in the NSC examinations.
