AFTER plenty of dance collaborations, Ellie Goulding has gone the other way by teaming up with Muse rocker Matt Bellamy.
She was working in a London studio on Save My Love – her latest dance single with Avaion and Marshmello – when she recognised Matt next door.

They ended up working on a track together after Ellie popped in to say hello.
She said on America’s Dance 30 radio show: “We were all just messing around.
“It was funny, Matt Bellamy from Muse was in the next room recording something, which I then got involved in.
“I never thought I could say I have a song with Matt Bellamy from Muse, but now I can say that.”
Ellie went on to say she is moving away from dance tunes on her upcoming LP.
She has reunited with songwriter and producer Jim Eliot, who co-wrote her 2012 smash Anything Could Happen and has worked with artists such as Olly Murs, Will Young and Girls Aloud.
Ellie said: “I love making dance records, I’ve been making them for so long. I grew up listening to dance music and it really is in my blood.
“I’m always collaborating with producers and people in the dance world.
“But my album is not that. Maybe it’s good that I have the two things going on. But interestingly, the person I’m working with for my first single also worked with me on Anything Can Happen.
“So maybe the era is coming back, the Halcyon era.
“I know my fans love that era and that album, so I think it’s all meant to be.”

She will be part of the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show in the Big Apple tonight, where Missy Elliott and Madison Beer will be among the musical guests.
A big line-up of beautiful celebs will be walking in the show, including Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk, who shared this Instagram snap flashing her bum as final preparations got under way.
I’m sure there will be a fair few famous faces in the crowd, too.

Frontman Steve Bird, who is in the band, left, with guitarist Sam Dyson, Dave Betts on keys and drummer Ed Gallimore, told me: “Lyrically, I wanted to get down to the bare bones and be as honest as possible.
“It’s been quite an eventful few years for me personally.
“I suffered from addiction problems, which I’m now in recovery for. Also I became a parent for the first time, so there’s a lot going on.”
The opening track Up All Night even features Chic legend Nile Rodgers.
Sam said: “We wanted the guitar parts to be like Nile Rodgers, so we were basically just ripping him off.
“Our manager came and was like, ‘We should just see if he wants to get involved’. And we were like, ‘Yeah right’.
“But then we got a message back going, ‘Nile f***ing loves it’. He phoned me up and said, ‘What do you want me to do?’.”

IT is all coming together for Chloe Qisha, who defiantly posed in studded underwear during a shoot to promote her new single.

Reflecting on the tune, she said: “So Sad So Hot is a playful take on heartbreak – finding yourself in the throes of sadness while being the most magnetic person in the room.
“I wanted to write a song about wearing sadness as an accessory, letting it empower you instead of it dragging you down.
“I like to think that this song is an assertive reminder that you’re still that bad bitch even if you’ve had your heart broken.”

SAM FENDER has collaborated with Sir Elton John on a new song called Talk To You.
The track will be out this Friday and it is expected to feature on a deluxe version of his No1 album, People Watching.
Elton, who plays piano on the song, said: “Love you, Sam. This is a special one.”

“And that’s just not been my experience, you know? Maybe it has been a lot of other people’s, and that’s awesome.” Instead, she has made a movie called The Moment, due out next year, which is loosely inspired by her own story.
She explained: “It’s not a tour documentary or a concert film in any way, but the seed of the idea was conceived from this idea of being pressured to make one.
“It’s fiction, but it’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever seen.”
