About the SAICA CA Trainee Programme 2026
The PIC is accredited by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) as an official training office. This structured three-year programme is designed to equip aspiring Chartered Accountants [CA(SA)] with professional, technical, and ethical competencies required in the investment management environment.
Through the programme, PIC aims to:
- Contribute to youth employment and professional growth.
- Support trainees in achieving their CA(SA) qualification.
- Provide broad exposure through structured departmental rotations.
Who Should Apply
Applicants must:
- Hold a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or be completing it by end of 2025.
- Be eligible to sit for the Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC) in January 2026.
- Demonstrate initiative, independence, and a strong learning attitude.
- Be unemployed South African youth seeking SAICA articles.
