Increasingly, and most deservedly, plenty of attention is being paid to the Proteas Women after they have claimed three wins in a row at the Women’s World Cup.
The Proteas Women are now third in the points table, and suddenly a semi-final berth looks well within reach.
It’s a thrilling prospect, especially considering the Proteas Women began the campaign in nightmare fashion after being bundled out for 69 in a 10-wicket thrashing by England.
However, since then they have claimed thrilling wins over Bangladesh, India and New Zealand.
The South African team will next be in action against Sri Lanka on Friday, with that game getting under way from 11:30 (SA time).
