I’M A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star and Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer has been admitted to hospital for surgery to remove a lump from his face.
The 27-year-old shared an update with fans from his hospital bed, revealing he was preparing for an operation on his chin.

He showed followers the lump on his jaw, and said: “For anyone that’s asking why I’m in the hospital, I’ve got an operation.
“I’ve got a lump on my chin. I’ve had it for time. I’m finally getting it sorted, man. It’s long.”
Malique did not specify what caused the lump.
Doctors say most facial lumps are harmless and can be linked to minor infections, cysts, or swollen glands.
But they should always be checked in case of more serious conditions.
Malique first shot to fame in 2016 when he joined Hollyoaks as Prince McQueen, quickly becoming one of the show’s most popular young stars.
He went on to win Best Partnership at the 2018 British Soap Awards alongside co-star Theo Graham.
Later that same year, he entered the Australian jungle for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, where he became the youngest contestant in the show’s history at just 20.
Although he was the second star to leave, his charm and humour won him a loyal fanbase.
He has since appeared on several other reality shows, including Celebs Go Dating, Celebs on the Farm and Celeb Ex in the City.
Away from television, Malique is a devoted father of two daughters.
He became a dad as a teenager and has spoken about the challenges of balancing family life with a busy acting career.
Despite his high-profile career, he keeps his personal life private, rarely sharing details about his children, though he has described fatherhood as his “biggest joy.”
