CHRISTIAN HORNER would be “perfect” for a Sky Sports punditry role according to his former Red Bull colleague, Guenther Steiner.
Horner has been on the lookout for a new job after his 20-year stay at Red Bull came to a dramatic end in July.

The F1 veteran took an eye-popping £80MILLION payout as compensation for being brutally axed.
But he is not ready to kick his feet up just yet.
Horner, 51, has been on the blower to F1 team owners scouting out the possibility of him taking charge.
It’s said that he would only take a job which would give him full control over decisions following an ugly power struggle behind the scenes at Red Bull.
His options may therefore be limited unless he uses his heap of cash to buy a stake in the team he joins.
Former Haas boss and Red Bull brain box Steiner reckons Horner should broaden his horizons.
Steiner told The Red Flags Podcast: “I think [Horner] gets busy pretty quick, but I don’t know.
“I haven’t spoken with him since he left Red Bull, so I don’t know what’s in his mind, what he wants to do.

“Maybe he just wants to go back into it, could easily be, but maybe he’s happy to do something else.
“I mean, Christian could easily go on TV, on Sky. It’s perfect: He’s British, and he knows the sport very well.
“But, I think he needs to give himself a little bit of time to calm down, not to take the first opportunity, but to look around, see what else is around.”
The terms of Horner’s Red Bull exit agreement dictate that he can’t join a rival team until the summer of 2026.
So TV work may be his best bet if he wants to keep money coming in over the next few months.
Horner’s feisty personality made for great entertainment during his Red Bull tenure – particularly when he locked horns with Mercedes foe Toto Wolff.
But he became mired in controversy last year when a female Red Bull colleague accused him of “inappropriate behaviour”.
Horner denied wrongdoing and was cleared by an internal investigation as well as an independent KC.
