A SAVVY shopper has revealed the little-known website she used to furnish her home on a budget.

Posting on social media, Goodness Olanrewaju, who is known online as Goody, explained how she cut costs by ordering a huge haul of furniture from Alibaba, a Chinese multinational company that operates a wide range of e-commerce, retail and technology businesses.
Goodness recognised that through this marketplace, buyers often handle their own logistics, including using freight forwarders to export goods.
The content creator and entrepreneur, who lives in the UK, confirmed that she spent less than £700 furnishing her sitting room, with items which she had shipped over from China.
Not only did she get a large leaner mirror for just £12, but she also saved thousands of pounds on a posh corner sofa too.
Uploading a short video online, Goodness, who has been importing from China for over six years, got candid on how she was able to transform her living room without breaking the bank.
She said: “I imported everything in my sitting room from China and it cost me less than £700, including the shipping fee to my doorstep here in the UK.”
Goodness then shared a quick cost breakdown of her purchases, as she confirmed: “I got my mirror for £12, TV console for £19, side lamp for £6.”
As well as this, Goodness spent £15 on an artificial plant, £30 on a rug and got four black photo frames for just £20.
She also bought curtains and a curtain rail for £20 and nabbed a stunning coffee table for only £20.
The interior design enthusiast spent just £25 on pillows and blankets and rather than spending £4,995 on a Chaise Sofa from Cozmo, she got a compressed corner sofa for a fraction of the price – for just £290.
Getting candid on prices, Goodness revealed: “Everything was about £427 in total.”
Goodness then confirmed that the Alibaba shipping wasn’t quite as cheap and did take two months for her items to arrive.
She recognised: “The shipping fee to my doorstep was £230, so in total, we spent £667 to set up my sitting room.”

Goodness’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @tolanigoodness, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as in just one day, it has quickly racked up 406,800 views.
Users were impressed with her bargain buys and many eagerly raced to the comments to express this.
