SKINT EastEnders legend Cheryl Fergison has been seen flogging her old clothes for as little as 33p an item at a car boot sale.

The actress, 60, was struck by an medical emergency in May which left her walking with a stick.

Cheryl took to Instagram to announce that she would be at Norcross boot sale in Blackpool with a stall of clothes.

The Eastenders star said she had hundreds of clothes and rather than chuck it in the bin – in this day and age she’d try to get a few pennies.

Cheryl, best known for her former role as Heather Trott in EastEnders, was then spotted later flogging her stuff for as little as 33p an item.

She needed the aid of her walking stick which she’s been using since her stroke and her son Alex was spotted lending her a hand.

The pair were selling a range of old clothes, shoes and trainers at the local marketplace.

Which included a range of plus size clothing up to a size 26 available for purchase.

Heather even offered a number of special deals, including two items for £5, or three smaller pieces for just £1.

And she seemed to attract a bit of a crowd with people asking her for selfies.

Cheryl has been very open about her financial struggles since being axed from the soap in 2012.

The media personality also appeared on the tenth series of CBB on Channel 5 back in 2012.

Speaking to The Sun recently, she said: “Until I have steady work, I’m not rich or comfortable—I’m just surviving.

“I’ve been saying yes to everything for no money, but I need to start valuing my work and asking for fair pay. Even my agent insists on it.”

With no acting work, Cheryl turned to performing in a local Chinese restaurant to earn some cash.

She said: “I’ll never give in. I want to keep singing. If people criticise me for singing in small restaurants, so be it.

“At the end of the day, I’m an entertainer. Community has always been important to me, and I’ll perform no matter the crowd.

“If only two people show up, I don’t care—I’m still being paid, and I’ll still give it my all.”

She previously begged bosses to give her a role in another soap such as Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

And in November last year, Cheryl broke down in tears in a food bank after struggling to find money to eat.
