BIG Brother has never been short of scandals, but some housemates go truly beyond the pale – and swiftly suffer the consequences of their actions.
This year’s contestant George, 23, has been given the boot for making “horrifying” comments that upset his fellow housemates.

Nick Bateman earned himself the nickname Nasty Nick and moved Australia after Big Brother[/caption]
An insider told The Sun: “Everyone was absolutely disgusted. Nobody could believe what he said – he was clearly out to shock people.”
Since leaving the house, George has said: “As a flag bearer of freedom of speech I never hesitate to discuss and question any topic regardless of how contentious it may be.
“Sadly, the boundaries of what is deemed offensive are subjective and I evidently went too far this time by crossing their line one too many times.”
He added: “It is a shame that specific debate could not be had and that it has had to end like this. Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me.”
The parish councillor from Braintree is the latest in a long line of housemates who have fallen foul of what is deemed acceptable and given the boot.
Here, we recap previous contestants thrown out of the iconic show for bad behaviour – and what has happened to them since.
Nick Bateman
Not even the first ever series of the show escaped having to remove a housemate for bad behaviour.
Nick Bateman got chucked out of the series for influencing eviction nominations, becoming one of the most iconic ‘baddies’ in Big Brother history.
Since his removal, he has opted to live life as a ghost, and reverted to using his first name Jack, rather than his middle name, which he had gone by since boarding school.
Before going to ground, Nick spent time living off his infamy, even partying with Brad Pitt, and getting involved in feuds with former housemates. He also returned for Ultimate Big Brother in 2010 and placed fifth.
In 2013, he moved to Australia and started splitting his time between Brisbane and Sydney and working in marketing.
Kitten Pinder

Kitten Pinder ended up in trouble on the show and outside of it[/caption]
It’s safe to say Kitten, real name Kathryn, was given chance after chance by Big Brother, but after breaking the rules 30 times, she was finally evicted.
And the drama didn’t stop there. Within days of her booting, she appeared at Brighton Magistrates Court for failing to pay four parking fines.
Despite attempting to blame ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair for introducing university top up fees, Kitten was ordered to pay the fines in full.
She has since withdrawn from the public eye. After her stint, Kitten’s dad Ken claimed that Big Brother should be banned.
Emma Greenwood

Emma has since left the public eye after getting wed back in 2018[/caption]
Emma was a key player in an almighty scuffle with other housemates that sparked one of the most dramatic removals in the early series of Big Brother.
She was isolated in the nextdoor bedsit before she was removed from the show for her part in the infamous ‘fight night’.
After her undignified exit, Emma spent time on the party scene and even landed herself a role as the resident Big Brother expert on Richard and Judy.
However, she disappeared from the public eye after marrying her husband Ben Womack at Gretna Green in 2017.
Emily Parr

Emily is a lifestyle influencer and recently got married to her boyfriend in Las Vegas[/caption]
Drama student Emily was just 19 when she appeared in the social experiment.
She was evicted on day 9 after using a racial slur against fellow housemate Charley Uchea in a conversation in the garden at 3.30am.
Unlike many of the other bad behaviour evictees, she quickly apologised, saying: “There’s no amount of words that can cover how sorry and how stupid I’ve been.”
Now, Emily is a lifestyle influencer with more than 50,000 followers on Instagram. She got married in October last year in Las Vegas to Nate, her partner of seven years.
Alexandra De-Gale

Alexandra didn’t make it further than two weeks in the house due to her behaviour[/caption]
Viewers were shocked by Alexandra’s “intimidating” behaviour towards housemates on her series, and she was eventually removed for her repeatedly aggressive and abusive behaviour.
When back in the real world, she went into hiding for her safety and claimed she was the victim.
But in 2009 she made headlines when she was accused of brandishing a 6-inch kitchen knife at three women after they joked about her “not being a celebrity any more”.
She was found not guilty of possession of a knife in public at Croydon Crown Court and has kept a low profile ever since.
Dennis McHugh

Dennis got the boot for spitting[/caption]
Dance teacher Dennis got the boot for spitting at housemate Mo when they had a row at over a painting, during which he also yelled “f*** you” multiple times.
He later apologised for his behaviour and said he was “ashamed”. He told The Sunday Mirror: “I’m ashamed of what I did, and I totally regret it. I am sorry for what happened. I’m bitterly disappointed.”
Dennis was banned from taking part in any other Big Brother appearances and has maintained a low profile since.
Daley Ojuederie

Danny was another contestant removed from the show for aggressive behaviour[/caption]
He now owns a boxing gym[/caption]
Professional boxer Daley Ojudederie, then 28, was kicked out over his “aggressive behaviour” toward Hazel in week four – and he later blamed her for ruining his life.
He told her he would “nut her one”, and was also accused of slapping Hazel on the bottom, clasping her around the neck and pinning her to a bed by both arms.
Daley was set to put glove to paper and pen a book about his life outside Big Brother with pals Tulisa and the NDubz crew but it never hit the shelves.
He returned to boxing in 2014 and now owns Trenchtown Boxing Gym.
Aaron Frew

Aaron was the only housemate in his series to be axed by production[/caption]
He now works as a stylist and posts thirst trap pictures to his social media[/caption]
Model Aaron was the only housemate given the boot by producers in the 2015 series.
He was removed after drunkenly flashing his bottom at fellow contestant Joel Williams and accused of making unwanted sexual advances.
In the diary room, he sobbed as he said: “I’m sorry. Oh my God, I can’t believe it.. I really didn’t mean to take it that far.”
He’s still modelling and now owns his own styling company, Frewstyles, and does sales for Jewellery brand FoundRae. He’s recently modelled for Calvin Klein perfume CK1.
Emma Jensen

In a bizarre move, Emma decided to try and break out of the Big Brother house[/caption]
Emma is still working as a DJ under the name Divine Jaguar[/caption]
Emma came into the house with her sister Victoria, but was given the boot after repeatedly trying to leave the compound.
“They say they removed me from the house, but I definitely escaped with the intention of getting the hell out of that house,” Emma declared.
“When I escaped, I was so excited and thrilled at the thought of freedom that I did not want to go back to the house. And so I’m more than happy and so, so excited that I’ve actually been removed finally after 32 days.”
Emma has continued being an international DJ and says on her social media that she is training to be a “priestess”. She was also briefly linked to Marco Pierre White Jr.
Otherwise, she’s kept herself out of the public eye.
Kayleigh Morris

Kayleigh’s violent threats against other contestants did not go down well[/caption]
Ex On The Beach Star Kayleigh was evicted from the 2017 series over making threats of violence against other contestants.
Her behaviour wasn’t aired, and viewers were already unhappy with the series for casting too many housemates who’d already been on reality TV.
Kayleigh was banned from further Big Brother events.
Since then, she has attempted to keep a low profile and shut down her social media accounts.
Lotan Carter

Lotan was axed from the show for bad behaviour during an argument with housemates[/caption]
Lotan is now a personal trainer and married to his partner of three years[/caption]
Dream Boys stripper Lotan was also axed from the 2017 series, for throwing a bottle at Isabelle Warburton, Hannah and Deborah Agboola during a fight.
As a result of his behaviour on Big Brother, Lotan lost his spot in DreamBoys but has continued to thrive in the public eye.
He landed a role in Magic Mike Live back in 2018, and in 2022 was revealed to be dating mum Stephanie Legg.
The couple got married earlier this year, and he has a daughter called Willow-Jean from a previous relationship. He’s currently working as a fat loss coach and personal trainer.
Ellis Hillon

Ellis was one of a few contestants who were axed for issues outside of the Big Brother house[/caption]
Ellis has since become an OnlyFans model and sells sexy snaps[/caption]
Student Ellis, then 20, was booted off the final series of Channel 5’s Big Brother after a series of racist tweets were unearthed in which she used a racial slur while talking about the 9/11 terror attacks.
She’d posted the tweet in 2014 on a Twitter account that had since been deleted. In a grovelling apology after leaving the house, she wrote: “I understand that I was totally in the wrong and I should never have said such horrible things.
“All the comments were from my teenage years, and I am deeply ashamed of them. I didn’t stop to think how they could be so hurtful at the time.”
Since then, she has started flogging sexy snaps on OnlyFans and shared that she suffered anxiety and depression as a result of her racist tweet scandal.
Lewis Flanagan

Lewis got in trouble for making anti-Semitic remarks to other housemates[/caption]
Lewis made it to the penultimate week before being kicked off the show for unaired racist comments relating to Hitler.
He told The Sun: “I was talking to Cameron [Cole] about getting him some outfits and I said the word ‘Auschwitz’ instead of outfits by mistake. It was a slip of the tongue and and then I tried to mock Hitler and did an impression of him saying “Kill the Jews”.’
Following his exit, Lewis deleted his social media posts and kept a low profile.
He returned to social media to reveal he had moved to Australia and shaved off his long hair and grown a mustache. Lewis has since deleted his social media again.
