TIGER WOODS has been dealt another health blow after being forced to undergo yet another back surgery.
And it leaves his golf career at risk of hanging by a thread once more.

Woods, 49, took to social media to confirm he needed to go under the knife.
The 15-time Major winner was experiencing pain and reduced mobility so had a disc replaced in his lower spine.
Woods wrote on X: “After experiencing pain and lack of mobility in my back, I consulted with Doctors and Surgeons to have tests taken.
“The scans determined that I had a collapsed disc in L4/5, disc fragments and a compromised spinal canal.
“I opted to have my disc replaced yesterday, and I already know I made a good decision for my health and my back. – TW”
The statement continued: “On Friday, Tiger underwent lumbar disc replacement surgery in his L4/5 Lumbar spine for lower back symptoms.
“The surgery was deemed successful and performed by Dr Sheeraz Qureshi and his team at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.”
Friday’s operation was Woods’ SEVENTH surgery on his back.
One of those was the dramatic spinal fusion procedure in 2017.
The most-recent major surgery was his third in the last two years after an Achilles operation and one on his ankle.
Woods was lucky to escape a shocking car crash in 2021 which saw him break his right leg and ankle.
The golfing great needed emergency surgery and there was a risk he would never be able to walk again, let alone play competitive golf.
He has continued to operate on a reduced calendar due to his physical restrictions and last teed it up at The Open in July 2024.
No timeline has been placed on his latest comeback – but the idea of returning to a full-time schedule again seems off the cards.
Instead, Woods may target his TGL indoor league as a suitable place to return to action given his business interest and the lack of physical exertion or walking.
The second season of the TGL gets underway on December 28 with the finals in late March.
