DAVE ALLEN lost a brutal 12-round bout to Russian heavy-hitter Arslanbek Makhmudov.
The White Rhino was looking to revive his career and a win could have secured him a showdown with former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.
But Makhmudov was the “better and stronger man”, winning via unanimous decision, and he now has his sights set on Anthony Joshua next year.
There was several blockbuster fights on the undercard, with wins for Josh Padley and Bilal Fawaz.
