That’s because a DIY whizz has shared the perfect present for under £10 – and it’s all thanks to a bargain buy from B&M.

The woman named Verity took to TikTok (@the.gift.oracle) and posted a video where she can be seen sharing a bargain way to jazz up B&M’s Christmas mug, which has recently taking social media by storm.

And it’s giving total designer vibes on a budget.

“We don’t normally love gifting mugs, but when we spotted this one in B&M, we knew we absolutely had to build a gift around it,” she admits.

“It was giving us Anthropologie vibes for a bargain price of £3.50.”

The popular mug features a large initial, bow wreath detailing and a green striped handle – perfect to drink your hot bevvy from in front of the fire this winter season.

Verity then goes on to demonstrate how she fills it with a selection of her “favourite winter goodies.”

She continues: “So we built a bit of a Bailey’s hot chocolate situation and then added in Tony’s Chocolate because it’s the best gift you can give anybody.”

To complete the gift, she then wraps it all in cellophane, before adding a green velvet bow.

How to save money on Christmas shopping

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how you can save money on your Christmas shopping.

Limit the amount of presents – buying presents for all your family and friends can cost a bomb.

Instead, why not organise a Secret Santa between your inner circles so you’re not having to buy multiple presents.

Plan ahead – if you’ve got the stamina and budget, it’s worth buying your Christmas presents for the following year in the January sales.

Make sure you shop around for the best deals by using price comparison sites so you’re not forking out more than you should though.

Buy in Boxing Day sales – some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.

Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.

Shop via outlet stores – you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.

They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.

“We wrapped it all up in cellophane and we actually think this is a great gift, coming in under ten pounds that they absolutely love,” she says.

The caption alongside the post read: “This @B&M Stores mug is giving us Anthropologie vibes for £3.50 so we had to build a cosy themed bundle that would make the perfect gift for under £10.”

The post has since racked up a whopping 105k views, with many parents raving about how it’s the perfect present for their kid’s teachers.

“This is so cute to give to my son’s nursery teacher!” praised one.

A second enthused: “Such a cute mug!!”

A third wrote: “Love this wow soo practical!!”

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “Love this!”

And a further added: “Great for teachers!”
