Product details
Matalan shoppers can now pick up a Bergamot Tin Candle for the low price of £3.
The five-ounce candle comes in a sage green tin and helps to “brighten your space” this autumn.
According to the product description, this buy offers an “uplifting scent”.
“With its fresh, citrusy fragrance, this candle is perfect for creating an energising yet soothing atmosphere,” manufacturers said.
And the “sleek, portable tin” makes it ideal for home use, travel, or gifting.
As well as “bringing a burst of freshness wherever it goes”, this buy has also been compared to a designer scent.
Impressed shoppers have compared it to a slightly pricier scented candle.
Designer dupe
The Jo Malone London Oud & Bergamot Classic Candle is available for £70 from John Lewis.
At a slightly bigger seven ounces, this posh candle allows you to “lose yourself in the hypnotic notes of a rich and mysterious scent”.
“Mysterious, smoky oud radiates with the clarity of crisp bergamot and warming cedarwood,” the product description read.
Despite the “signature glass design” of the “elegant candle”, it has still been compared to the budget-friendly Matalan buy.
“Love it, but when I’m on a budget I go for the Matalan version instead,” one shopper wrote.
