About the DESTEA Environmental Health Inspector Internship Programme 2025–2027
The Free State Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (DESTEA) is offering eight (8) exciting internship opportunities for qualified unemployed graduates in the field of Environmental Health and related disciplines.
This 24-month internship programme aims to provide participants with workplace exposure, technical and professional development, and life skills training to enhance employability in the public and environmental health sectors.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R7 860.38 and be placed across four district service centres within the Free State.
