Is M&S taking part in Black Friday this year?
Marks & Spencer hasn’t officially confirmed whether it will be taking part in Black Friday this year, but based on previous years, it’s likely the retailer will offer significant discounts around that time.
While M&S traditionally avoids using the ‘Black Friday’ label, it often runs ‘Unmissable Offers’ and promotions across key departments such as fashion, beauty, and home in late November.
We predict that M&S promotions will begin around Monday 24th November, with peak discounts landing on Black Friday itself, 28th November.
What deals to expect from M&S’ Black Friday sale 2025?
In 2024, M&S ran its Unmissable Offers sale with notable discounts across core categories, including around 30% off select branded men’s and women’s clothing and accessories – strong clues for what we’re likely to see again this year.
Our take: keep an eye on party-ready fashion, cosy knitwear, premium beauty deals and smart home updates – popular sizes and shades tend to sell through quickly once the price cuts land.
We’ll be tracking live offers as they drop, so you can jump on the real value and skip the noise this November.
What was in the M&S sale last year?
Despite not officially taking part in Black Friday, there were several offers for shoppers to enjoy.
We’ve listed a selection of highlights from last year’s sale below, so keep an eye out to see if these products are discounted again this year.

When is Cyber Monday 2025 and is Marks & Spencer taking part?

Beauty bargains were up for grabs[/caption]
Marks & Spencer beauty offers
This year, Cyber Monday falls on December 1st.
Traditionally, Cyber Monday was seen as the final ‘online-only sale event’ closing the Black Friday season.
But over the years, many retailers have chosen to launch deals in-store and online.
The Cyber weekend is a great opportunity for customers to make a dent in their Christmas shopping lists while saving some extra cash.
Marks & Spencer’s doesn’t officially run any Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
However, the high street brand usually has massive reductions across all departments in late November, marking the start of the peak Christmas shopping period (watch out for those novelty decorations!).
How much does Marks & Spencer’s shipping cost?
M&S is currently offering UK standard delivery on all online orders to England, Scotland, and Wales, which costs £3.99 for fashion, home and beauty orders.
It’s free standard delivery for orders over £60, which excludes furniture.
You could also choose UK Next Day Delivery and UK Nominated Day Delivery (which excludes Northern Ireland) for £5.99, which also doesn’t include furniture orders.
Does Marks & Spencer offer any other discounts?
Outside of the sale, there are several ways shoppers can save.
Students can get extra discounts via UNiDAYS, and NHS employees can check out Health Service Discounts for additional offers.
M&S also offers Sparks discounts for loyalty card members.
It’s free to create an account, and it’s easy to sign up.
Once you’ve created an account, you’ll get exclusive, personalised offers, a special birthday treat, and a chance to collect stamps to score a free hot drink.
Marks & Spencer’s also donates to a charity of your choice every time you scan your Sparks card, and every week in every store, one lucky customer will get their shopping for free.
Marks & Spencer’s food offers
Marks & Spencer food and wine
M&S is famous for its delicious food ranges, which include fan favourites like the dine-in meal deals and party food ranges that will make any ‘girl dinner’ complete.
Whether you are a die-hard Colin the Caterpillar range fan or a Christmas food devotee, you can check out what the retailer has on offer online before heading in-store.
M&S also drops new in-store offers, which shoppers can check online.
The retailer also has an extensive selection of hampers and wines, which are ideal for stocking up on ahead of the festive season or gifting to a loved one for Christmas.
