The MAFS UK 2025 participants don’t spend all their time shouting at each other at dinner parties. Here’s a deep dive into what the MAFS UK 2025 cast’s real life jobs are, according to their own LinkedIns. The aesthetics practitioner to MAFS pipeline is strong.
Ashley

He used to work on cruise ships. He’s now an operations director at Global Maritime Engineering Services, building big boats and whatnot. My main takeaway from his LinkedIn is that he used to have a quiff.
Dean

(Image via LinkedIn)
His LinkedIn describes him as an “entertainer”. The page lists various places he worked as an entertainer from 2016 to 2023, including Butlin’s and Haven. Apparently Dean has been a freelance game show writer since 2023 (although, his LinkedIn goes into no further details about what he’s actually written).
Divarni

Divarni seems to have a wider array of jobs than any of the MAFS UK 2025 cast. As well as his acting, music and modelling gigs, Divarni apparently manages other artists runs a company called LoneBoy Records, and works as a business adviser for the Department of Work and Pensions. He coaches people who want to become self-employed.
John

(Image via Linkedin)
He’s a real LinkedIn hack. The MAFS UK groom John Shepherd studied business and communication at the University of Chester. He had various marketing jobs until he started his own company, Social Shepherd, in 2023. The slogan is “flocking fabulous”. He’s definitely going really big on the sheep-themed branding. Social Shepherd helps other companies with marketing and social media.
Keye

He actually studied law at London South Bank University, then wound up working in real estate marketing. His last job before MAFS UK was for The Crown Estate.
Leah

(Image via LinkedIn)
She’s a real she-EO. Leah worked in sales for a while, then became the head of energy solutions at a heating and plumbing company. Right before she filmed MAFS UK, she started a business called Voltaco, for consultants on “sales strategy development, product analysis, procurement optimisation, better buying techniques, sales training, business development, and tailored marketing plans.” Leah has a whopping 4,169 followers on LinkedIn.
Leisha

(Image via Linkedin)
Leisha has a job at a dentist in Edinburgh. Before that, she worked at an Estée Lauder counter. Leisha also works for her mother’s travel agency, Borden Global Travel.
Leo

(Image via LinkedIn)
Erm, Leo goes by Hotdogg even on LinkedIn. He lists his pronouns as Hot/Dogg. Surely this is a red flag? He graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in graphic design in 2015, then worked in hospitality. His LinkedIn says he runs a clothing brand and a print and design company, but I can find no further details on what those actually are.
Maeve

(Image via LinkedIn)
Her LinkedIn is a bit bare. But you can see she’s worked as an aesthetics practitioner in Newcastle for eight years. Maeve also runs The Online Beauty Academy, and trains students to work in the beauty academy.
Nelly

(Image via LinkedIn)
Nelly works as a cosmetic dentist at Kissental in Manchester. That means she deals with veneers, as opposed to rotting cavities and whatnot. She’s also trained in botox and fillers.
Sarah

(Image via LinkedIn)
She appears to be leagues better at LinkedIn than at complementing her husband. Sarah used to work at a cafe, and studied a course at the MGA Academy of Performing Arts in Edinburgh. She’s now a recruitment consultant at Major Recruitment in Aberdeen. She has, like, a gazillion LinkedIn connections and is constantly posting on there. Impressive stuff.
Steven
Okay, so Steven’s LinkedIn seems to have been made private now he’s on MAFS. I did get a look before that, though. Yes, he did play football professionally (more than a decade ago). Steven did not actually have a job while he was filming MAFS. He recently worked as a temp at Financial Ombudsman Service.
