As they take on roles of Traitors and Faithful, who will emerge triumphant?

The Celebrity Traitors begins tonight (October 8) at 9pm on BBC One, with episode two to follow on Thursday and will air across five weeks.

Ahead of the debut, bookies have ‘unveiled’ the castle’s top contenders.

BoyleSports have Tom Daley at 7/2, Nick Mohammed at 4/1 and Stephen Fry at 9/2.

Meanwhile, they have Charlotte Church at 5/1, Alan Carr and 5/1 and Celia Imrie at 11/2.

Also in the line-up are Clare Balding, Jonathan Ross, Tameka Empson, Joe Marler, Joe Wilkinson and Kate Garraway.

Paloma Faith, Mark Bonnar, Cat Burns, Ruth Codd, Niko Omilana and Lucy Beaumont and David Olusoga round out the contestants.

They will compete to win £100,000 to donate to a charity of their choice.

The Sun revealed bosses have already decided Celebrity Traitors’ fate, before the show has even aired.

The last civilian run, which aired in January, attracted huge ratings of seven million per episode.

A source said: “The Celebrity Traitors is landing at the very peak of the format’s popularity, it’s the biggest show on the box, globally, and the cast is exceptional.

“Everyone knows something would have gone incredibly wrong if this didn’t become the TV event of the year.

“The official message is that a formal recommission depends how well series one does, but in reality it’s all but a done deal.

“Celebrities have already been sounded out on appetite to join.”

A Traitors spokesperson said: “It would be foolhardy for any faithful to foreshadow what the future could entail.”
