In yet another example of why working in hospitality or retail is literal HELL, McDonald’s workers were confronted by a “crazy lady” whose fries were not salty enough.
Originally posted on TikTok by @5xlfun, the woman, who has since been identified as someone called Desiree, approached the McDonald’s employees whilst complaining that she was missing her fries. She allegedly pushed past a queue of people to complain, but the original poster’s manager did retrieve them for her. But here’s where things really kicked off, because – gasp -the new fries were unsalted.
That was practically the entire issue, and the chaos that soon unfolded was over not having enough sodium, of all things.

Though the manager pointed out that “we make mistakes”, the woman replied in the video: “No, that’s not a mistake. As a manager, [is] that a little petty mistake? No, that’s not a mistake, that’s purposeful. Now that I have an attitude, I’m in the wrong? I’m the crazy one?”
Things got even crazier in the edited version, with the woman taking herself behind the counter and throwing sauce everywhere. She got up in the original poster’s face and had to be escorted out of the building. After sticking her middle finger up, she once again returned to yank on the door.

Again, this was all over salty fries, and if you’ve ever been to McDonald’s, you know those babies are salted to the high heavens.
The ‘crazy’ McDonald’s lady is not backing down
After she was identified and her Instagram was posted to TikTok, Desiree posted some truly unhinged statements. Usually, after seeing their behaviour, people back track – but the McDonald’s “crazy lady” doubled down.
In a carousel, she wrote: “I never regret a crash out, they’re always very intentional. I absolutely do not mind stepping outta character real quick to remind someone that I’m not going for certain shit. I’ll forever be the problem cause I don’t let people do whatever they want to me. Put me on a lie detector & make sure they ask if I gaf. I want y’all to see something.
