IT’S one of the most magical times of the year.
But something that can dampen the excitement surrounding Christmas is having to wrap presents – specifically battling with the sticky tape.

However, there’s a new hack that’s blowing people’s minds, and it’s sure to be an absolute game changer for festive wrapping sessions.
Alex took to TikTok after making the epic discovery, as she admitted she would be “so embarrassed” if the hack was already common knowledge.
Holding up a standard sticky tape in its dispenser, she said: “With a small tape, I was always like ‘oh I wish I could put it on my tape dispenser’.”
Alex then showed how the middle of the black section that goes in the centre of the tape to hold it in the dispenser can also be popped out.
“Like are you actually kidding me?” she gasped.
“The middle comes out, the little tape pops on there, goes in the dispenser!”
“How have I only just figured this out?” Alex captioned the TikTok.
And the comments section was almost immediately filled with people admitting they also had no idea about the hack until they watched the TikTok.
“WHATTTTT?!” one wrote.
“I have 2, off to find out – I’ll be back!”
They then added: “Yep mine’s the same, mind blown lol!
“Why don’t they put it on the box?”
“44 years old and didn’t even know this,” another commented.
“Mate!! This is life changing l!! Thanks so much,” someone else said.
“I thought you had to have a separate one for little tape,” another marvelled.
“Helpful thanks!”
