THIS is the terrifying moment a kidnapper snatches a baby away from a horrified mum in a British seaside town.
The shocking kidnapping unfolded outside an ice cream shop in Blackpool, Lancashire, in May this year.

Kidnapper Nicolette Goldrick has now been jailed for 12 months[/caption]

The moment a woman, who has now been jailed, walks up to a baby in a pram before wheeling the youngster off down the street was captured on CCTV.
In the horrifying footage, a woman dressed in a black hooded top and jeans approaches the baby.
The tot’s pram was left on a pavement outside the ice cream shop where the baby’s mother works, on Central Drive, Blackpool.
The pink pram with the tot inside is out of the mother’s sight for mere moments when the abductor pounces.
While the mother’s head is turned for a few seconds the kidnapper seizes her moment and strikes.
Approaching the baby and inspecting the pram the 51-year-old woman, with a mask on her face, proceeds to wheel the pram off at speed with the confused tot still inside.
The kidnapper checks over her shoulder several times as she makes off with the baby.
The mother then storms out of her ice cream shop and races down the street to save her child and confront the kidnapper.
With the help of a member of the public the heroic mum gets hold of the pram and wrestles control back from the kidnapper.
She takes her baby to safety as the woman who tried to kidnap the youngster walks off down the street.
The brazen abductor has now been identified as Nicolette Goldrick – who returned to the scene later the same day and was arrested.
As cops swooped on her the kidnapper verbally abused officers and even spat at one of them, a court heard.
Goldrick pleaded guilty to child abduction and assaulting an emergency worker on 28 July 2025, at Preston Crown Court.
During her sentencing hearing yesterday the court heard a victim personal statement read out on behalf of the parents.

The tot’s mother, Sarah Smith, and the baby’s father said in their statement that the incident marked the worst day of their lives.
The pair went on to explain that the kidnapping was something they would never get over.
Goldrick has now been jailed for 12 months after admitting to her crimes, which a judge said caused “unimaginable terror.”
A restraining order for five years has also been put in place by the court.
Tom Snape, Senior Crown prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service North West, said: “Nicolette Goldrick’s brazen actions caused unimaginable terror as she attempted to abduct a baby.
“This incident encapsulates every parent’s worst nightmare, forcing her mother to chase after her.“
“Goldrick’s abuse to the officers upon her arrest suggests she has little remorse for her actions.
“I hope the baby’s parents can begin to move forward knowing Goldrick has faced the consequences of her actions.”
