A YOUNG woman has shared her top secrets to growing waist-length hair.
So if your locks have been the same length for the past decade and you aren’t sure how to get your hair to grow, fear not – you’ve come to the right place.

Just two years ago, Fleur Green, a beauty fan from the UK, had a snapped-off, bleach bob.
But now, after following a strict hair routine which she does every four days, she has broken the internet with her Rapunzel tips.
Posting on social media, the content creator explained how you can fix dry and brittle hair – and an £8 Boots buy is key.
Fleur, who has amassed 84,200 followers on TikTok, showed off her luscious locks and said: “This is my Rapunzel multimillion view oiling and hair wash routine, which quite frankly, has broken the internet this week.
“After 19 million views this week alone, I thought it’d be only right that I give you guys another in-depth tutorial as today is hair wash day for me.
“The main reason I think it’s gone viral is the fact that less than two years ago, I had a snapped-off long bleach blonde bob.
“I’ve done this routine religiously twice a week and this is all my own natural hair, which is way down past my waist.”
Fleur then got candid on the secrets behind her healthy hair, as she explained: “What I love to do is I mix Nature Spell Rosemary and Batana Oil in the little comb applicator the bundle comes with, which is amazing because it makes things so mess-free.
“And let me just say, hair oiling is definitely not a thing I invented, I’m 100% sure of that.
“This has been a thing which other cultures have done for centuries and generations and I started my hair oiling journey just under two years ago.”
While you can buy the Nature Spell Rosemary Oil for just £8 from Boots and Holland & Barrett, you can also nab this, plus the Batana Oil, for £15 from Amazon.
Fleur continued: “But what really worked for me is about just over a year ago when I started mixing Rosemary and Batana Oil. I’m just obsessed with this combination.
“Rosemary Oil is known as being the Rapunzel oil, so if that’s your biggest concern, fabulous, but the Batana Oil is super rich in antioxidants and fatty acids, so if you’ve got dry or brittle hair, or hair that won’t get past a certain point or it’s prone to snapping, breaking, you name it, this combination of oils is perfect.
“I do half an ounce of each oil, apply that all throughout my scalp and the underside of my scalp and then with any residue, I apply that on the mids and ends.

“As you can see at the start of the video, my hair was looking quite dry, so I really make sure to nourish my ends with the oil.”
After applying the oils to her hair, Fleur then gave her hair a good brush to evenly disperse the oils.
Following this, she added: “It’s then time to go in and give yourself a scalp massage – this is really important, do not skip this step, especially if your biggest concern is to be Rapunzel.
“I use this for about five minutes, rubbing gently in circular motions – this is really important.”
Hair re-growth FAQs
Anabel Kingsley, Consultant Trichologist and Brand President at Philip Kingsley spoke exclusively to Fabulous.
How long does it take for hair to grow back?
Hair grows, on average, half an inch a month. You cannot speed this up.
Do rosemary oil and scalp massages work?
Oils do not promote hair growth. In terms of rosemary oil, the current trend stems from one small study carried out on 50 men in 2015. No women were involved, and the study compared the effects of 2 per cent minoxidil to Rosemary oil. 2 per cent minoxidil doesn’t do much for
male pattern hair loss anyway, so the results were not very impressive. Oils do serve a purpose in conditioning hair treatments though. They help add shine and smooth the hair cuticle to lock-in moisture and improve combability. Scalp massages alone won’t cure hair loss, but it can help relax you, aid in lymphatic drainage, exfoliate and help topicals penetrate.
Are there any products or foods/vitamins you recommend someone using or eating to help with hair regrowth?
To support healthy hair regrowth, if you are experiencing hair thinning we’d recommend our Density Preserving Scalp Drops clinically proven to help slow hair loss with continued daily use within three months.
Telogen effluvium (hair shedding) due to nutritional deficiencies can often be simply treated with changes to your diet, and nutritional supplements such as our specially formulated Density Healthy Hair Complex and Density Amino Acid Booster.
Iron and Ferritin (stored iron) in red meat, dried apricots and dark, leafy greens. Vitamin B12 in animal products and fortified plant-based foods. Protein from oily fish, lean meat, cottage cheese, tofu, nuts, chickpeas, and beans.
However, there may be an underlying cause for their hair loss and rather than this being masked by using an off-the-shelf product, they should be encouraged to seek the advice of a specialist such as a Trichologist.
After giving her hair another brush, Fleur put her hair in a low bun using a large satin scrunchie.
She recognised: “I love to leave my hair oil in for between one to four hours – that is the recommended amount but we’re only human, sometimes it’s gonna be longer than that if I’m going to work or the gym.”
When it comes to washing out the hair oils, Fleur revealed: “I do actually wash my hair with shampoo three times during this process.
“My hair is very thick and now it is literally so close to my bum, it’s past my waist, so for me, that’s what I have to do, but I would recommend to anybody, you wanna be shampooing at least two to three times to ensure there’s no residue left.”
