Anticipation is building across South Africa as the PowerBall jackpot has climbed to R130 million, with the next draw set to take place on Friday, 10 October.
In addition, the PowerBall Plus has also seen a significant boost, with a jackpot of R18 million, according to lottery operator ITHUBA.
Amid rising living costs and ongoing economic challenges, many South Africans are viewing the upcoming draw as more than just a game of chance – but as a potential life-changing opportunity.
No winner in recent weeks
With no winner in recent weeks, the PowerBall jackpot has rolled over to one of the highest totals seen this year.
If won, it would create South Africa’s next multi-millionaire and drastically alter the life of a lucky ticket holder.
The PowerBall and PowerBall Plus draws will be broadcast live at 20:58 on Friday, with the winning numbers published shortly thereafter on official ITHUBA platforms as well as The South African.
Lottery players are reminded to purchase tickets before the cut-off time and to play responsibly.
Good luck!
