Gemma Collins’ very unusual living situation at £1.3million Essex mansion revealed after I’m A Celeb return

GEMMA Collins has revealed she and her fiance are living with her parents after moving them into her £1.3million Essex mansion.

The 44-year-old made the unusual decision for her other half Rami to live under one roof with his in-laws earlier this year.

Gemma, who is in the new I’m A Celebrity All Stars line-up, has been a pillar of strength to her mum and dad who have gone through serious medical issues in recent years.

Giving an update on their health at the launch of Paddy Power and The Hippodrome Casino’s Paddy’s Sportsbook, Gemma said: “Everyone in the family’s doing well, mum and dad are well.

“They live with me now. They’ve moved into my home, so we’re like one big Irish family.

“My brother lives six minutes up the road and I’ve got my nephews. We’re all within touching distance.”

Gemma has been in an on/off relationship with businessman Rami, who owns a car mechanical repairs company, since meeting on Celebs Go Dating in 2011.

Grilled on how he reacted to living with Gemma’s mum and dad, she told The Sun: “Rami was absolutely fine with it, he loves my parents. They get on really well. You’ve got to remember, Rami has been in myfamily for nearly 15 years.

“So yeah, it’s all good. Do you know what? For once, there’s no problems, no headaches.”

In fact, Gemma says she’s doing better than ever after taking “life-changing” fat jabs that cured her obsession with food.

Despite being known for being a poster girl for shapely women, Gemma now only eats one meal a day after a two-decade battle with her body.

It’s seen her drop more than three stone – and totally transform her relationship with food.

But the Towie icon refuses to lose her famous curves, telling The Sun: “Nothing against skinny people, but I don’t ever want to be thin.”

She added: “Darling, I became most famous being who I am.

“If I got stick thin overnight, it would kill my brand, my endorsements and it wouldn’t be me.

“I’ve become successful being who I am and I’m not going to change that for anyone. I’m really not.

“God’s made me as I am and now I just embrace my natural body size. I love my hips. I love my curves.

“I’m never going to be thin and I’ve made peace with that. Everyone needs to accept it.”

Gemma celebrated the UK’s first fully-licensed Sportsbook housed in London’s Leicester Square last night, having been made the new face of Paddy Power earlier this year.

She joined fellow brand ambassadors Peter Crouch and Danny Dyer on the green carpet for the glitzy occasion, with jockey Harry Cobden and world champion boxer Shannon Courtenay.

The state-of-the-art venue, themed around Ancient Rome, has been purposefully designed to deliver an exceptional live sports and entertainment experience, with seating for 120 guests across private booths, high-top tables, and comfortable lounge chairs, all offering outstanding visibility of sports action on 50 high-definition screens.

Gemma said of joining the Paddy Power family: “Paddy Power is the right fit for me. It’s loud, it’s proud, it’s all about having fun and not taking life too seriously. Plus I like the colour green and I love the Irish.

“Obviously, times did change after Covid and it’s just about bringing that old school party back again with this new venue.

“I love the fact that we can come to a casino and get super glammed up with your best wear on to have fun with your friends.”
