MARRIED At First Sight UK star Grace clashed with her husband Ashley again tonight, describing speaking to him as “talking to a brick wall”.
The explosive duo have been doing all they can to improve their communication after struggling a lot in their short marriage so far.
Ashley has even began reading books on feminism to try to better understand his wife’s struggles as a woman.
But during a conversation tonight, Grace ended up shouting at her spouse while he tried to explain his point of view.
In the last episode, the couple were speaking to the MAFS UK matchmakers.
Ashley spoke candidly about how him and Grace were trying to work on their relationship, and how they shared a brief intimate moment.
He described picking Grace up and putting her on the counter top, and she reportedly nuzzled into his neck.
Grace didn’t appreciate Ashley speaking about this moment, and claimed he exaggerated certain parts of the interaction, making her out to be a liar.
Ashley apologised but said: “I’m not going to tell the story from your point of view,” expressing how he felt it was important to be able to voice his own take on the turn of events.
Grace was not happy about this, shouting that having a conversation with him is “like talking to a brick wall”.
MAFS UK viewers thought this was incredibly manipulative of Grace, and scolded her over on X for not allowing Ashley to express his own perspective.
“Grace doesn’t want Ashley to say anything that makes her look bad,” said one user.
“Ashley needs to run,” voiced another.
Fans of the show also appeared to be worried about Ashley and how he has to “walk on eggshells” around Grace to keep her happy.
“Ash looks so exhausted he’s treading on eggshells everyday with Grace, he’s getting nowhere with her,” said one exasperated viewer.
Other agreed, adding: “Ashley, tell your story.”
This isn’t the first time that Grace and Ashley have butted heads.
They’ve been a notoriously rocky couple on the programme so far, with Grace breaking down in tears as soon as she met her husband at the altar because she didn’t find him attractive.
She even threatened to leave the show.
Viewers have deemed her as a walking red flag, but only time will tell of the duo’s relationship will stabilise.
