A billionaire influencer is being criticised on TikTok for her “unethical” content in which highlights her wealth.
Becca Bloom is a American entrepreneur and social media influencer who shares her life on social media, including glimpses of her thousand dollar crockery and cutlery sets.
She has a TikTok following of over 4.7 million, however some viewers have recently called her out for her unrelatable and “tone deaf” content.
The Becca Bloom backlash comes after she filmed a bag unboxing for TikTok, where she showed off her haul worth tens of thousands of dollars.

Viewers have flagged issues with Becca’s content, with the influencer being dubbed the Marie Antoinette of TikTok.
Commenting on her recent bag unboxing, one user wrote: “Spending 30 grand on a six inch purse is diabolical. You could sell a rich person a dollar general bag if you put a big price tag on it.”
Others wrote: “That purse would get me out of debt.”, “Tone deaf and honestly idk WTF else we need to revolutionise.” and “I could do so much more with that money.”
One user, Hanna, spoke about RichTok in a video targeted to Becca’s content. She said it’s “so dangerous for people” because it “warps our baseline of what we think is normal.”

Speaking about Becca, Hanna said: “She is just one of many creators that produce this kind of content.
“I think that explains why a lot of young people believe that you need to be making $500,000 to be ‘financially successful’ or need to have a net worth of $10 million when that is not the lived reality of most people.”
Another user, @partyardy, directed a video directly to Becca, where she seemingly asked the influencer why she posted on TikTok, saying:” Do you want to be relatable? Because that’s not happening. Is it to de-villainise billionaires? No one should be liking billionaires.”

Speaking about Becca showing her lifestyle, she added: “It’s really not a good time for that.
“There’s a certain level of wealth that’s just unethical. It’s just not a good look. So if you’re gonna go be a billionaire, please be quiet about it.”
Another TikTok user said: “You’ve just got to read the room.”
The comments on the video were split. Some viewers supported Becca, writing “She’s just a girl” and “Don’t hate on BB. She’s one of the good ones. She’s so sweet and wholesome.”
Others supported the backlash against Becca Bloom, writing: “Finally someone said it. We should not be giving billionaires a platform like that.”
Another said: “You’ve just got to read the room”
