Zozibini Tunzi lands first Netflix role, premiering this October

Miss South Africa 2019, Zozibini Tunzi, is stepping into her first series role. The 32-year-old will star in the upcoming Netflix drama Bad Influencer, premiering on 31 October.
“Chile, her smirk already has me stressed,” she joked about her character. “I’m so proud of my first series role. The show is incredible, the cast is impeccable! You’re gonna love it all. I hope you’re sat!”
Tunzi is no stranger to the screen. She made her acting debut in the 2022 film The Woman King, playing the role of Efe, and has since appeared in guest roles on TV, including ChanceTV.
She also made her mark behind the camera as host and executive producer of Crown Chasers, South Africa’s first-ever Miss South Africa reality show on SABC3.
With Bad Influencer, Tunzi continues to build her acting career while bringing her presence and charisma to global audiences.
Zozibini Tunzi got married on March 22, 2025. The wedding took place in Cape Town and was a private, star-studded event attended by close family and celebrity friends.
She shared official photos and heartfelt captions about marrying her best friend and expressed deep love for her husband. The traditional wedding ceremony was also celebrated later in her hometown of Tsolo.
Her husband is Luthando Bolowana, and the couple had maintained a private relationship before getting married.
