Big Brother UK 2025 is honestly a bit of a mixed bag so far. Wanted to love it, feeling neutral on it. Not loving this year’s bunch of housemates – mostly because it feels like they all have some kind of other entertainment connections going on. Wanted Caroline to be an icon but so far it’s just come out she’s a micro-celeb from the 2000s who was engaged to Matthew Wright and is now announcing a friendship with Nigel Farage. Even the villainous characters like George have also been spotted to actually be an actor – and now people watching Big Brother have clocked that Gani is ALSO an actor. Albeit not a very professional one, but here’s what we know.
Gani and the show only mentioned that he was a Pizza Hut night shift manager
Gani has been a big character on Big Brother UK 2025 so far. So much so that along with Zelah he’s up for eviction this week. The newbie housemates felt like he’s always putting on a show in the house and singing and dancing and what not. He is a character, but he hasn’t mentioned that he has a profile on Backstage and is also an up-and-coming actor.
His bio on Backstage declares “I am an up-and-coming actor with a natural talent for bringing characters to life on screen. With experience in both short films and features, I have proven myself to be a versatile performer who can adapt to any role. I possesses a magnetic presence and a charisma that draw audiences in, leaving a lasting impression long after the credits roll.”
Although, I think the operative term here is up-and-coming because unlike another one of the housemates, it seems Gani from Big Brother doesn’t have much actor credentials.
On the other hand, resident villain George Gilbert is actually a professional actor. His Backstage profile listed off a string of professional credits alongside claims of studying at drama school.
So that’s two who’ve gone in as a pizza restaurant manager and a parish councillor – failing to declare they also do acting as well.
