Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun’s romance has become impossible to ignore, and after weeks of speculation, their friends are quietly acknowledging just how quickly things have developed.
The speed of their new relationship comes only months after Sweeney ended her engagement to Jonathan Davino. They had been together since 2018 and engaged since 2022. At the time, a source told People, “She’s not ready to settle down. She’s exactly where she wants to be, very excited about all her projects. What did make her overwhelmed though was her relationship and her wedding. She didn’t feel right about it.”
Now, she appears to have shifted her focus entirely. Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun have been rumoured to be dating since June. Most recently, they were seen hand-in-hand at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights in Los Angeles, joined by Sydney’s parents, Lisa and Steven.

A source told the Daily Mail, “They talk every day and see each other often, it is hot and heavy. I don’t want to say the L word, but it feels like the L word. They seem very much in love, or at least incredibly in lust.”
They added, “The attraction is she is hot as can be and he is an old soul who is helping her guide her way through sudden fame and her exploding career. He gives great advice. They have what each other wants.”
Just last month, an insider told Page Six that Braun was “obsessed” with the Sweeney since they first crossed paths at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Italy earlier this summer. Also he has been “pursuing” Sweeney ever since, taking her on multiple dates around Los Angeles.
They’ve been spotted at trendy restaurants in Brentwood, walking through Venice with friends, and even chatting together during Lana Del Rey’s Coachella set earlier this year.
Neither of them has commented publicly on their relationship yet.
